This is a picture of an Eagle we seen grabbing a Fish out of the Lake for its Dinner. Wish I had a better Lens at the time to get a close up. Pretty cool watching that.

These are pictures we took of the kids when we stopped to let them swim at Echo Reservoir on the way home. They had fun!

The Girls Insisted on Going Swimming. We took them to the Lake but it started Raining so didnt spend too much time swimming.
Jaycee begged and begged to go camping for her birthday. Instead of a party she wanted to take a few friends camping. We met my sister up to Rockport. We let Jaycee pick two friends to take and of corse it was her very best friends Porter and Whitney. These three girls do everything together. Very thankful Jaycee has them as friends. We had a lot of fun camping. Cant wait to go again.

For Jaycee Birthday she had her very best friends: Whitney and Porter over for a sleepover. They made chocolate covered strawberrries. We ate birthday cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday. The girls asked me to take them to the Graveyard again. Last year they had a sleepover and I tried scarying them and took them for ice cream and dared them to go to the graveyard in the dark. Whitney is not afraid of nothing and had no problem doing somersaults across the graveyard. I pretended to leave her and all the girls were laughing. They ask me to do it all the time now. So I told them to get in the car and we would go get movies. I took them to get a movie. We then went and got Ice Cream and took the famous trip to the grave yard telling scary stories on the way. The girls always just laugh! On the way home they had the windows rolled down screaming "It Jaycee Birthday!" Sorry to my neighbors that got woke up at midnight by the loud girls! So happy that Jaycee has these two as her friends. Jaycee adores them! I adore them too! Happy Birthday again Chopper!

I am lowering my standards of blogging and going to blog about this shelf. I LOVE THIS SHELF. Jeff bought me this shelf about 10 years ago for my birthday. It is my favorite thing, I love decorating it for each diff. Holiday! My goal is every time I decorate it to make sure I am taking a picture and posting it. WHY you ask? Because it is a little time consuming to decorate and I refuse to let my Hard Work go unnoticed. ha ha!

These are the S U M M E R blocks I made for my sister! She was wanting some new blocks to replace the Spring blocks on her fire place mantel. I love how they turned out and had to post! I ALMOST KEPT THEM! he he! I love my sister!

Today is Jaycee Birthday and she turned 13! WOW! It seemed like just yesterday she was born and we were bringing her home from the hospital. I have so many great things to say about Jaycee and maybe its because she is my sweet little girl but mostly because she has the most incredible spirit. She is extremly shy until you get to know her. She is so funny and is always making our family laugh. She loves to make her Dad laugh by calling him her pet gorilla. Some of my most favorite memories of Jaycee is the first time she left our side to play with some friends. It was a hot summer day and Jeff, Jaycee and I were out on our deck at our old home. She was four years old I believe. I even remember what she was wearing that day....the cutest yellow summer outfit with her hair down in curls. The neighbors next to us asked if she could come play! She looked at Jeff and I as she took the neighbors hand and went in there back yard to play. Jeff and I could see her but I remember her checking on us every sec. as she slid down the neighbors slide. I even remember her running back and kissing us and then going and playing again. She started growing up and eventually would go play without the checking on us every sec. She has grown up to be a sweet girl always worried about us and everyone dear to her. In gym this last year she was the one that would choose teams in her Gym class. I was told she would always pick the handicap girl very first...that was in her class. She has a great love for people! This year she would also talk about the handicap boy that would wait for the bus with her. When she brought home her yearbook signed by all her friends she did not exclude her friend from the bus stop, he was the first to sign it. Jaycee has taught me so much and I can't put into words how very blessed I am for having her in my life. I remember how happy I was when I was told that I was having a baby girl....a daughter...a best friend. She truly is my pride and joy! I love you so much Jaycee! Happy Birthday my baby girl...my daughter...my best friend.

Here are a few pictures from July 4 weekend. We had so much fun! Saturday was my Neices Kaitlynn's birthday and we went over for a BBQ and swimming. Sunday we just hung out with our Family and had a nice dinner and did fireworks. Monday we went over to Kathys and had a BBQ. Kathy had so many fun things for the Kids. She had them all hats to decorate and some goodie bags. She always goes over board.

Kathy lost her husband Russ (Jeff best friend) a few months ago. This year has been an extremly hard year. (I have yet to Blog about it because it still makes me cry!) Kathy is my Bro-in laws sister and Jeff introduced her and Russ. Russ and Jeff have know each other for years and were in the 82nd together. When they got out of the Army Jeff came to Utah and not long after Russ followed. Russ was introduced to Kathy and it was love at first sight! (or so I was told!) Russ was such a good hearted person. He was so fun and always happy. Our kids loved him so much and always talk about him. Our entire family has been devasted since his lost. My heart goes out to Kathy and I still find myself thinking of her almost every day. She has been so strong and has kept herself busy...I really look up to her! I dont know if I could be that strong! She is such a great inspiration to the word STRENGTH! I love her so much, she is like a sister to me! Jeff has been extremly sad. I find him at times just thinking by himself and then he will talk about his good friend. (and now here comes the Tears!) I cant help but think of Russ and Jeff at this time! INDEPENDENCE DAY! They both faught for our freedom and they had the all american friendship that is talked about in history....talked about in war. They shared a special bond that no one will truly ever understand. Truly thankful that Jeff had him in his life and like I have told Jeff "Some people go through life not really ever having a true friend...be thankful for the friendship you shared!" I am truly thankful to have known Russ. He was the most unjudgmental person I have ever known. Happy Independence Day Russ! We love and miss you so much!

Today Jacob came to me and said "You know that patch of long grass under the trampoline that we are always have problems with?" He said we should probably get a Goat mom! Because you know that Goats will eat grass and weeds?

He makes me laugh. He is wanting a farm so bad! He wants goats, horses, pigs, and cows. He is currently saving up his money to buy some land. He has approx. $280.00 in the bank. (He has more money than Jeff and I ha ha!) Love you Jacob!
