TODAY WAS JAKE'S BIRTHDAY! WE ASKED HIM WHERE HE WANTED TO GO. HE CHOSE TO GO TO THE CASTLE PARK! WE HAD A PICNIC AND LET HIM OPEN ONE OF HIS PRESENTS. HE GOT A FRESH CHERRIES LIME GREEN GREMLIN REMOTE CONTROL CAR. THE KIDS PLAYED FOR A LITTLE WHILE. WE THEN CAME HOME AND MADE A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR JAKE. HE IS HAVING HIS BIG PARTY IN A WEEK!

Jake is so funny! Taking his picture this morning I realized he gives a lot of Peace signs! I went through some picture to get all the picture of his famous sign. He makes me laugh so hard! There will be many more Peace signs!

Jake's Birthday is this Sunday. His Grandma "Grandma California" sent him this Mickey Mouse Watch. He has wanted a watch like "Grandma California" for quite sometime. He was so excited yesterday when he got home from school and there was a box with a card waiting for him to open. He was so excited he ripped open the box and said "It's just like Grandma California with the arms that move!" He woke up first thing this morning and asked me to put it on to wear to school. I had to take a picture to show Grandma California! Thanks Grandma California for the Watch!

LIKE I MENTIONED JAXEN IS VERY BORED WITH THE KIDS BACK IN SCHOOL ALL DAY! TODAY HE WENT AND FOUND THIS HAT IN HIS CLOSET THAT FIT HIM LAST YEAR. HE PUT IT ON AND KEPT SAYING "MY HAT!" THIS HAT HARDLY FITS HIS BIG NOGGIN! IT WAS SO CUTE I HAD TO TAKE A PICTURE!

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! JAYCEE IS IN FIFTH GRADE AND JAKE IS IN FIRST! THEY WERE SO EXCITED, THEY HAVE BEEN OUT SINCE MAY 22. LAST YEAR THEY WERE YEAR ROUND AND THIS YEAR THE SCHOOL HAS WENT BACK TO TRADITIONAL. A VERY VERY VERY LONG SUMMER. THEY BOTH LOVE TO LEARN AND THAT IS WHEN I SEE THEM THE HAPPIEST.....WHEN THEY ARE LEARNING NEW THINGS. JAXEN IS SO BORED WITHOUT HIS BROTHER AND SISTER HOME. THE FIRST DAY BACK HE KEPT PUTTING HIS HANDS OUT SAYING "WHERE JAKE?". HE SAID THIS AT LEAST 20 TIMES, IT HAS BEEN PRETTY LONELY WITH THEM IN SCHOOL. IT STILL BEATS LISTENING TO THEM FIGHT ALL DAY! (HA!HA!)

This Summer we hung out at the park a lot. We found this really cool Castle Park in Fruit Heights. I had to share some pictures. The kids had so much fun! Let me know if you have never been there and I will give you directions!
