Jake had been asking for months to go to the zoo. He wanted to see the camels. I think Jake knows everything possible about camels! How long they can go without water! That there humps can fall off. Any question about a camel ask Jake....he has the answer! Jeff and I planned a day to go to the zoo. We had fun seeing all the animals. My favorite was the elephant with the baby elephant. I could have sat there all day and watched the elephants. We rode the train at the zoo and I think that was the kids favorite part. We got the kids an ice cream and let them paly for a little on the zoo playground. Fun day!

Here are a few pictures of the kids on Halloween and the Day before Halloween carving there pumpkins. Jaycee picked out the funniest costume this year. Everyone was laughing. She is so cute and funny!
Here are some more blocks I made for Halloween! The witch i made years ago! Had to take a picture where i displayed her this year!

The "SCAT" blocks I made for the shelf in our entry way!

In the middle of the night I came up with an idea to make a mummy for my door! Not sure I like how it turned out! It was still really fun to make!

The Mummy!

I am a little obsessed with Halloween! Such a fun time! When I was making the Mummy..Jaxen comes up and says....

Jaxen: "Mom what are you making?"

Me: "A Mummy!"

Jaxen: "What do they call them if they are boys? A daddy?"

Me: Laughing hysterically "Its not a Mommy its a Mummy!"

I still dont think Jaxen quite understands its a Mummy no a mommy! so funny!

Then the ideas of taking the kids as zombies...turned into making these blocks for our fireplace mantel. These turned out so cute! ...and i just have to say i am addicted to making these blocks! I have so many ideas for each holiday for these blocks. Cant wait to make some more!

Here are some more of the kids dressed up like zombies! This was such a fun night. The kids had a blast! (they wont admit it because they hate doing pictures!) They were laughing and giggling together this night. Love my Nephew and Niece! Love my kids!

After taking the pictures of Jaycee...my sister and i came up with an idea to dress the kids up as zombies and take pictures of them in a graveyard. They turned out so cool! I love these kids!

So once again I have been slacking at blogging and get to play catch up now. Here we go.......

HALLOWEEN is one of my most favorite holidays. Jaycee and I had a idea to take some SPOOKY pictures. Jaycee was such a great sport being my model for the idea's we had in our head. We went shopping and bought a plain black dress and went and started shooting. I was getting the Heebie Jeebies just taking the pictures!! They turned out really cool! So then this night began another idea to take a picture of all the kids dressed up as zombies.
