Our Kids are so Lucky to have a Dad that knows where Santa Keeps there Reindeers when it gets close to Christmas. Every Year we take the kids to see "SANTA'S REINDEERS!" They get so excited and ask a million questions. Jaycee was even excited to see the Reindeers! Here are some of the many questions Jake asked today!
1. Why are they not flying?
-Jeff answer "They have to be fed Magic Pellets in there food! Santa only gives them the Magic Pellets on Christmas!"
2. Why do they not have Horns?
-Jeff answer "They are growing horns for Christmas! (Jeff shows where the horns are starting to grow!)
3. Why are the Reindeers here and not at the North Pole!
-My answer "Because Santa has "Back Up" Reindeers all over the world. You have to be Santa's Special Helper to be given the oppurtunity to take care of his Reindeers!
4. Where is the North Pole?
-Jeff answer "No one knows where it is!"
-I add to the question... "They keep it a secret because Santa has lots of work to do all year long and he can not be bothered! He is busy busy making all the little boys and girls Christmas Toys!
5. Do you think Santa will bring me a Reindeer for Christmas?
-My answer "hell no!" he he only kidding this is my real answer....No because a Reindeer would not survive the hot summers they would get really sick!
6. How does Santa know what you want for Chritmas!
-Jaycee answer "Santa has a magic Globe!"
Jake's says "You Seen That on a Movie!"
Today was so fun! I love when the kids start to get excited for Christmas.

Sunday evening the kids sat down after dinner and did some crafts. The boys painted rocks and Jaycee made a Paper mache Rocket ship. They were so cute and "QUIET" sitting down painting. I just had to take a picture of them concentrating so hard on there projects.
Friday I came home from work and the kids had decorated the house. They had made paper lanterns and put them all over the house. They also cleaned the house and made dinner. When I walked in it was dark and Jeff and all the kids said "SURPRISE"! I had to take a picture of the cute decorations they made and I left it up for the weekend.
Since I took a picture of the cute "Gobble" on the fireplace I guess I should Blog about that. My mom made this and it turned out so cute! I kept telling my mom I was going to post this and say I made it! ....I can't lie and I must give all the credit to my mom! Very cute Mom!

HOW CUTE ARE THESE! CORNEY COOKIES! You might think they are a little corney but how cute for thanksgiving! I seen these on Disneyfamilyfun website and had to share. Here is the recipe...
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Vanilla frosting
Green fruit leather
M&M's or Reese's Pieces candies

Instructions
Using an electric beater, cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix in the flour a little at a time until the ingredients are well combined. Chill the dough for several hours or overnight.
Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Divide the dough into 3 parts. Working on a floured surface with one part at a time, roll out the dough to a 1/4-inch thickness. Using a knife, cut out corncob shapes about 4 inches long. Place the cookies on ungreased baking sheets and bake for 9 minutes or just until the edges brown. Let the cookies set on the sheets for about 2 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Frost the cooled cookies. Next, use kitchen shears to cut husks from the fruit leather to fit the sides of each cookie. Press the husks in place atop the frosting, with the tips down a bit. Now fill in the middle with candy kernels gently pressed into place. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen cookies
Here is a Homemade Hot Cocoa Recipe I found on Disney Family Fun website. This is my very favorite website! They always have so many cute and fun ideas. This would be a cheap and easy Christmas gift. Get clear bags and fill with the hot cocoa. Print off some cute Clipart and fold over and staple at top of bag. ***Although all we need now is a cute saying! Any Ideas for a Hot Cocoa saying? hmmmm I will have to think****

Ingredients
2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup powdered nondairy creamer
1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions
Measure all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk them until they are evenly blended.
Store the mix in a tightly covered container at room temperature until you're ready to package it. Makes about 4 cups of mix.

Today I took some pictures of the kids. It was time for some updated pictures. I have so many I will have to post some more when I get done editing them! I love doing Christmas Cards of the kids and sending them out for Christmas! I have so many ideas that I usually make different ones for family and friends.

Today I go in Jaxen's room and this is what I find! Jaxen has ripped all his clothes off and he is stripped down to just his underwear. He pulled out the trundle from underneath the bed and is hiding. I go into his room and I am saying "Jaxen where are you?" Jaxen keeps says "I see you!" I look down and all I see is his 2 little brown eyes looking at me! He makes me laugh so hard.
