Have you ever just really stopped and realize the gorgeous things around you? I love the outdoors! Enjoy the Simple things in Life!

Drum Roll Please........My very first Pie I have ever made! Cherry Pie Yum! The kids all sat around and watched me make it. I think they were just as excited as I was!

Jaxen was sick last week with strep and was extremely congested. After taking him into the doctor at least 4 different times they finally decided to try him on the breathing treatment machine (whatever you call it!). Anyway I thought he looked so cute with the little mask on that I had to take a picture! He was getting lots of loves from me, jeff and grandma!
This weekend we set up the Christmas Tree and the decorations. Jaxen was carrying up the smaller Christmas Tree and Jaycee asked him "Jaxen can you carry that?" Jaxen Replys "Yes Im a Wrestler, I can bend Metal!"
Last night right before bedtime, Jaxen asked for a Christmas Tree cupcake! Jeff and I told him that he could not have one because he had just brushed his teeth and it was time for bed. We got the kids to bed and Jeff and I stayed up and watched a show. Jeff and I went to bed and I was woken up at around midnight by little foot prints running into the kitchen. I got up and found Jaxen helping himself to a Christmas Tree cupcake! I asked him what he was doing and he answered "Going to the bathroom!" I asked him why he was in the kitchen then? I could not help but giggle at his cute little face. Jaxen finally broke down and said "I just really want one of these christmas trees!". I wish Jaxen could stay five years old for ever....well maybe not forever but longer than a year. He is so cute and funny! .....and of course He had his Christmas Tree Cupcake! : ) Love you Jaxen!

Here are a few pictures of Jaxen Wrestling last Saturday. He had to wrestle a girl and the look on his face was hilarious. We kept telling him to wrestle like normal but he still was gentle and nice with her. The little girl was a pretty dang good little wrestler!! Jaxen also made a boy cry and then I thought Jaxen was about to cry because he felt bad he hurt the boy. He got to wrestle three different times...three different people. Jaxen is really enjoying wrestling and he won all three matches. Hoping he will continue to enjoy wrestling!!

Jacob was recognized for his piece he wrote for the reflections contest last week. He wrote the greatest paper on Diversity. I am so proud of him! Jacob is in 4th grade this year. This is what he wrote:

Diversity is the thing that makes us different

I wonder how other people live

I hear different languages

I see a lot of cultures

I want to learn about other cultures

Diveristy is the thing that makes us different

I preten that i am Native American

I feel bad for people who are treated differently

I touch good things from other cultures

I worry about the Native Americans

I cry because of how other cultures are treated

Diversity is the thing that makes us different

I undertand what diveristy is

I say "all Men are the same"

I dream that we all will be friends

I try to like everyone

I hope we can all be friends

Diveristy is the thing that makes us different

Jacob has so much love in his heart for everyone. He really loves to learn about different cultures and he especaially loves to learn about the Native Americans. He spends hours looking at books and reading about the Native Americans. The part I really like about his story is "I dream that we all will be friends". I wish everyone in the world would think and love like Jacob. Jake has taught me so much about life. I love you Jacob! love mom!
