Do you need a treat idea for you childs school class. I am making these this year....Yummy Mummies. This is also from the Family Fun Halloween 2009 Magazine. You have to go buy this magazine it has the cutest ideas. Here is how you make these cute little yummy mummies.
Tissue Tube
white paper
packing tape
glue
2 inch wide gauze
googly eyes
candy treats
For each holder, trace one end of an emply tissue tube onto a piece of white paper, then cut out the circle, making it slightly smaller than your trace line. (tip: if you fold the paper into a few layers, you can cut out several circles at once.) Cut the tube in half (you can make two holders per tube) and use packing tape to attach the paper circle to the bottom of one of the halves. tape one end of a 2 to 2 1/2 foot strip of 2-inch wide gauze to the tube, then wrap it around the holder, gently stretching and twisting the gauze as you go to give it some dimension. When you've coverd the tube, cut the gauze and tuck the end under a nearby layer. Glue on googly eyes (or use the self-adhesive kind), and fill the mummy with candy treats.
