I never really thought of myself as much of a dog person....but I am so in Love with our Dog Mellow! She is so easy going and Lazy she makes me laugh everyday. Tonight she came inside plopped herself on the couch and fell asleep. The kids were jumping on and off the couch and Mel did not move. We got Mellow (we call her Mel for short!) in July from a younger couple with small children. Mel was not in very good shape when we got her. She had not had her nails clipped for awhile and was not fed properly. She was shedding like crazy and over weight! I wish I had taken a picture! She looks so good now. We try to faithfully take her on walks everyday and went to the farm store and they suggested the food Loyale. I have been so amazed with the dog food! Her coat is so shinny and NO shedding. She looks so good! I hope she is happy because we love her so much! She is so spoiled but I can't help myself...I have never loved a dog like I love her! She is another one of my kids! She always has that big tongue out and she is always sniffing. I always tell her that her nose gets her into trouble. When Jeff gets mad at her I always say "Dont Blame Mel, Blame her Nose!"
